Recycling e-waste
Most cities have regular recycling programs. Check with your local government website or sanitation company – DON’T FORGET TO WIPE YOUR DATA.

Staples and other large office supply retailers are offering electronic waste recycling now.
Some Goodwills now recycle old electronics. Check with your local one.
Target, Apple, and Microsoft all have trade-in programs for old electronics.Offset the cost of your new device by trading in your old device
Best Buy offers electronic waste recycling. Find a Best Buy near you and load up your old electronics.
Clothes & Fabrics
H&M accepts all fabric now and gives you a discount on your next purchase.
Madewell takes recycled jeans you drop off and turns them into insulation.
Levis will send you a 20% off coupon and a downloadable shipping label for your old jeans.
Blue Jeans Go Green turns old denim into housing insulation.
Eileen Fisher has a program called Renew, where they will take back their clothes and donate them if they are still in good shape. If not, they will recycle the fabric.
Bras & Undies – Most clothing donation places won’t take them but this organization does http://www.brarecycling.com/.
Lastly, if you want to take your recycling to the next level, this company accepts and recycles EVERYTHING, for a cost: TerraCycle.
Children’s Gear
Target has a used car seat trade in program.
Toys for Tots - They only take new, packaged toys, are there toys your kids haven’t opened yet? If they haven’t played with them yet, they won’t miss them
Ronald McDonald House -The Ronald McDonald House offers facilities for entire families, which means it’s continually in need of toys to keep siblings occupied while staying there.
One of our favorite places to donate to in Los Angeles is the Toy Loan Program. It's a free program that allows children to borrow toys in the same manner that they can borrow books from the library.
Housewares
Habitat ReStores are home improvement stores that accept small and large donations of new or gently used furniture, appliances, housewares, building materials and more. Proceeds from the sales of these items help Habitat's work in your community and around the world. Here’s where to find the one closest to you.
Glasses
To donate, look for a Lion’s Club glasses donation drop-off box in your community.
