Here are some of our favorite resources that will help you vanquish your clutter.

The Sedona Method can help you develop the awareness that emotions, even overwhelming ones, are like pencils–you can hold them, or drop them. 

It is available as an audio course, or a book housed at most local libraries. The method is incredibly simple, and you can practice it anywhere, as you’re cleaning out a closet, or loading the dishwasher.  

Tapping, or EFT, is an incredibly helpful, and clinically proven way to alleviate stress around a specific challenge, say, letting go of your grandmother’s bed, and address the underlying emotions that brings up.  There is a book called The Tapping Solution by Nick Ortner that is very easy to use and there are plenty of videos on YouTube that can teach you the method in a matter of minutes.  

A very good book that can help you get to the emotional root of any financial issues is Your Money, A Love Story by Kate Northrup. It looks at money from a holistic, energistic perspective, rather than simply a rational, dollars and cents one. It has pragmatic advice, too, but if you are burying financial information this can help you figure out why.
